Dear friends and colleagues,

My third performance in collaboration with the weather starts today: '5-Day Forecast For Amsterdam'. The piece takes place from Saturday 16 February 2008 until Wednesday 20 February 2008 non-stop (incl. sunny at night). I hope you enjoy the show.

'5-Day Forecast For Amsterdam' is a feel-good time-based installation performance. It is a part of a larger series of performances 'Telling Future'. The piece features cold sunshine and deals with the issues of predicting future, winter depression, wishful thinking, drama, arguments for the existence of god, authorship, control and artistic illusion of grandeur.

Dear friends and colleagues,

I would like to invite you to my new performance 'Subtropical Storm: The Undead'. The email notification is specifically for those who do not live in the area of Florida where the performance has been taking place since Wednesday 9 May 2007.

This is the second in the series of 'Telling Future' performances I have made in collaboration with the weather. 'Subtropical Storm: The Undead' is a durational thriller that deals with the issues of announcing future, personal responsibility, paranoia scenarios, drama, autorship, performativity and the effects of rain dancing.

Weather Alarm: Snow (8 February 2007)

Dear friends and colleagues,

I would like to invite you to my new performance 'Weather Alarm: Snow'. It starts in the morning hours of the 8th of February 2007 in the south of Holland and slowly spreads to cover the rest of the country until the evening. The piece is symultaneously presented in several other European countries. It's a one day event.

'Weather Alarm: Snow' deals with the issues of (omni) presence, childhood nostalgia, changing weather, doomsday scenarios, drama, authorship, control and artistic illusion of grandeur. It is an immersive interactive durational spectacle. It is a part of a larger series of performances 'Telling Future'.
